Details to have ready
- Slovenian registration number
- Registration-certificate type and number
- VIN for identity comparison
Use the eUprava public vehicle record
The official Motorna vozila page asks users to select the certificate type and enter the registration-certificate number and registration number. This is a document-based check; do not assume an unrestricted VIN-only search is available.
Match original documents to the car
Compare the registration certificate with the car’s stamped VIN and the seller’s other documents. Use the official registration guidance to clarify transfer questions. A matching online record does not establish the car’s mechanical condition.
Request a dated inspection trail
Ask for technical-inspection reports and repair invoices to trace mileage and maintenance. For a vehicle imported into Slovenia, include its earlier registration and inspection records. Investigate a timeline that starts years after the car’s first use.
Limits to keep in mind
- Access depends on registration-document information requested by the service.
- No claim is made that this service supplies a complete public accident or finance report.
Commercial reports and an independent inspection
Compare a provider’s coverage with the periods and countries missing from your documents. A commercial report may add evidence, but it does not replace an official check where one is needed or an inspection of the actual vehicle. Read provider reviews before choosing.
