Details to have ready
- VIN / рама
- Bulgarian registration certificate
- Technical-inspection evidence
Use the official VIN check
The public Automobile Administration form asks for the VIN and displays fields for the last reported mileage and inspection-validity date. Enter the number from the car, then compare the identity with the original registration documents.
Review the available mileage sequence
The public service includes a distance-statistics section. Compare the dates and readings actually returned with service invoices and the dashboard. The presence of a mileage field does not guarantee observations for every year or earlier foreign use.
Check the car before and after import
For an imported car, request its foreign registration, inspection and repair evidence. Ask an independent technician to assess structural damage and mechanical condition. Inspection validity in Bulgaria does not answer every question about earlier accidents or ownership.
Limits to keep in mind
- No vehicle-specific lookup was submitted; returned coverage can vary.
- Inspection or mileage records are not a complete title, theft or damage report.
Commercial reports and an independent inspection
Compare a provider’s coverage with the periods and countries missing from your documents. A commercial report may add evidence, but it does not replace an official check where one is needed or an inspection of the actual vehicle. Read provider reviews before choosing.
